Seats & roles

Everyone in your company on Estimator+ holds one of two kinds of seat.

The two seat types

Estimator — $450/month. Estimator seats can hold either the Admin role or the User role: both build and price tenders day to day, and Admin additionally manages users, roles and billing.

Viewer — $150/month. Viewer seats are read-only — they can look at projects but not edit them. A Viewer seat is a natural fit for someone who needs to keep an eye on tenders without pricing them: a director tracking the pipeline, or someone in the office who only needs to check status and numbers.

All prices are AUD, excluding GST, billed monthly.

Managing your team

An admin manages the roster from Admin → Members & Billing: inviting someone new, changing a person's role, or removing them from the company. An invite goes out by email; once it is accepted, the person appears in the roster with the role you gave them.

Changing someone from Viewer up to a User or Admin role moves them onto an Estimator seat, and is billed the same way as adding a new seat — see below.

How seat changes are billed

Adding a seat mid-month is charged immediately, prorated to the rest of your current billing period — you are not waiting until renewal to pay for a seat you are using today.

Removing a seat works the other way: it reconciles down at your next renewal, rather than issuing a credit partway through the month. If a seat is freed up earlier in the billing period and you give it to someone else, that reassignment does not trigger another charge — you have already paid for it that period.

Viewers and the Intelligence Bridge

Viewer seats cannot use the Intelligence Bridge — connecting an AI agent is part of the Estimator seat, the same way editing a tender is. See Connect an agent and Access & control for what an Estimator seat can do there.
