Access & control

The Access tab in Intelligence Bridge is where you decide what a connected AI app is allowed to do. It has two parts: the company-wide switch, and the list of apps currently connected.

The two toggles

AI app access is the master switch, off or on. Off means no AI app can connect to your company's tenders at all — this is the default for a new company. Turning it on moves you to read: a connected app can look at your tenders but cannot change anything.

Allow apps to make changes only appears once AI app access is on. Off, apps stay read-only. On, connected apps can also write — add scope lines, leave notes, enter subcontractor quotes, and so on. Turning this on asks you to confirm first, since it applies company-wide and to every tender, including ones already submitted.

Only a company admin can change either toggle. A user (non-admin) seat sees the same switches, but read-only, with a note that a company admin controls them.

In plain terms:

• Off — no access. Nothing connects.
• Read — an agent can look, but not touch.
• Read & write — an agent can also make changes to your tenders.

Connected apps

Below the toggles is a list of every app currently connected: its name, when it was connected, and a Revoke action next to each one. Revoking ends that app's access immediately — it can no longer read or write anything.

Connecting an app and managing your own connected apps is available to any user seat, not just admins. The company-wide switch is what an admin controls; who has personally connected an agent, and revoking your own, is yours to manage.

Why this is safe to turn on

Access is enforced by row-level security: a connected app only ever sees what your own Estimator+ login can see. It does not get a separate, wider door into your company's data — it is scoped exactly the way you are.

Viewer seats cannot connect an AI app at all. The Intelligence Bridge is part of the estimator seat, in the same way editing a tender is — a read-only seat has nothing new to unlock here.
